Colleen Duggan, Administrative Leadership. Colleen has a BA in Psychology, an MA in Communicative Disorders and Sciences, and an MS in Educational Administration. She is the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the Frontier School District, where she is concentrating her efforts on building systems for vertical alignment and curriculum mapping, multi-tiered systems of student support and ongoing professional development for teachers. Prior to working in education, Colleen was a Speech Language Pathologist at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, the Robert Warner Rehabilitation Clinic, and the North Tonawanda City School District. She has also worked as a part time Clinical Supervisor at Buffalo State College. At Frontier, Colleen has worked as a high school and middle school assistant principal and was Director of Special Education for 13 years. Colleen appreciates her teachers and believes that “teachers teaching teachers” is the best kind of of professional development. She encourages and empowers teachers to take leadership roles. Colleen holds teachers near and dear to her heart, as her mother was a high school English teacher for the Buffalo Public Schools for 35 years.
